Waxhaw Town Hall Location Update

Aug 27, 2013
Statements
The Union County Town Hall meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 29th has been MOVED from the CMC Waxhaw facility to the American Legion building on Highway 75.  We outgrew the hospital facility.

This August, I’ve maintained one of the busiest town hall schedules in all of Congress.  So far, each town hall has featured a capacity crowd, and we’ve even had people standing in the aisles!

To make sure everyone has an opportunity to attend the Waxhaw town hall meeting, we’ve decided to move to a larger facility.

The town hall is still scheduled for Thursday, August 29th at 6:30 p.m., but we’ve moved to the American Legion Post on Highway 75 near downtown Waxhaw.  This is one of the largest venues in town, so there should be plenty of room for you and your neighbors.

As your Representative in Washington, it is critical I hear your thoughts, concerns, and comments about current issues facing our Nation.  We might not agree on everything, but as Americans, we can come together for respectful dialogue.  That’s a freedom not enjoyed in much of the world.

Please consider joining me at the American Legion on Thursday evening, and please help spread the word about the new location.

If you can’t attend, you are always welcome to call one of my offices, e-mail, or send me a letter. Serving you is my top priority.
