Pittenger to address national VFW convention

CONGRESSMAN PITTENGER TO ADDRESS VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS NATIONAL CONVENTION
CHARLOTTE – VFW Commander-in-Chief John Biedrzycki has invited Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) to address the Veterans of Foreign Wars 117th National Convention on Tuesday, July 26th.
Congressman Pittenger’s speech is scheduled for 8:10 a.m., just prior to the address by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Congressman Pittenger will discuss the need for greater accountability and transparency at the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as providing an update on Monroe, NC veteran Garland Denny’s proposal for a “Stamp Out PTSD” semi-postal stamp.
