CONGRESSMAN PITTENGER’S STATEMENT ON DEATHS OF SEVEN MARINES FROM CAMP LEJEUNE

Today, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) released the following statement on the deaths of seven U.S. Marines stationed at Camp LeJeune, who were killed during training exercises in Nevada.
“Today we mourn the tragic deaths of seven American heroes who died while training to protect our freedoms.  Every brave man and woman who joins the military knows they might be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice, but often their dedication goes unnoticed. Please take the time today to find a member of the military, or a veteran, and thank them for their service.
Suzanne and I grieve with the families of those who were lost, and in this difficult time, we pray they are comforted by the love of family and friends, and find shelter in the shadow of the Almighty.”
